The econometrics lab, ethnographic lab, and geographic information systems (GIS) lab are in Carnegie. This is where Kofi Annan ’61 studied economics before going on to become a Nobel Peace laureate and U.N. Secretary-General from 1997 to 2006. On the building’s west side, flags representing four of the 94 home countries of current Mac students can be seen throughout the year. The flags change every two weeks.
